NewTech Services participated in The RDCR Well Engineering Forum - 2019 on April 11 in Moscow
The RDCR, Russian Drilling Contractors Roundtable, is the major annual event for drilling experts and professionals in Russia. The 7th RDCR was held on the 11th of April at the Hotel Baltschug Kempinski, Moscow. The RDCR was confirmed as the largest gathering of drilling experts in Russia including operator drilling teams, drilling contractors, service companies and equipment vendors, domestic and international for drilling market challenges and development discussions.
The RDCR Forum has been organized under the sponsorship of NANGS.
The RDCR has grown year by year and today developed to incorporate the entire Well Engineering cycle. The format of the event is providing a platform for the engagement, which is needed to subsoil users, drilling contractors and suppliers of drilling equipment, to discuss key issues, problems and challenges facing the industry, to build business relations and to share advanced operational, technical and technological expertise.
The RDCR forum balances a mixture of conference case study presentations with roundtable styled discussion with Q&A sessions. This year the event included over 400 delegates and sponsor representatives of the Russian drilling industry. NewTech Services also sponsored the event as a Silver Sponsor and has been performed by Dmitry Usoltsev (General Director of Hydrobur-service LLC) with his presentation “Drilling Tools Manufacturing in Russia – The New Frontiers” in the second session of “The Drilling Equipment” round table.Hydrobur-service LLC (based in Perm, Russia) is a subsidiary of NewTech Services Holding Limited since 2011. Mr.Usoltsev’s presentation covered the current trends in manufacturing of Russian and Western drilling equipment; discussed the NewTech Services advanced technologies and R&D products, its successful experience of international projects; and the localization challenges of equipment manufacturing in Russia.
The interactive format of the event allowed not only to present the NewTech Services Group, but also to actively discuss the most important industry challenges, technical solutions and new technologies in the Russian drilling market.
